Potato Diet — Day 1
• Ate 5-6 lbs of potatoes — a little more than an average pre-famine Irish child
• Great energy and mood all day (surprised!)
• Had a good workout in the afternoon
I decided to add small amounts of dairy to meals.

The potato diet begins today.
• unlimited potatoes
• a little fat (butter, tallow, or coconut oil)
• salt
• black coffee/tea
If necessary, I’ll add a small amount of beef, dairy, or eggs to cover basic nutritional needs.
My primary question: how will it impact my mood/energy levels/mental health?
For context: I’ve used a ketogenic diet for years to alleviate depression symptoms.
