OPML, or Outline Processor Markup Language, is a type of file format that allows for the exchange of information between different platforms or applications. In the context of RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, OPML is often used to transfer lists of RSS feed subscriptions between different RSS readers.

If you're not familiar with RSS, think of it as a technology that lets you subscribe to updates from your favorite websites, such as news sites or blogs. Instead of having to manually visit each site to see if there's new content, RSS delivers this new content directly to you.

How to use it?

1. Recommended Method: Subscribing to OPML

Some RSS readers, to our knowledge, such as Inoreader, support direct subscription to OPML files. This way, when the OPML from MoreRSS is updated, you don't need to do anything; the reader will automatically sync.

In Inoreader, you can find this service through the following path: 「Preferences」 - 「Import, Export, Backup」- 「New OPML subscription」

Note that the categories that come with OPML will not be accepted by inoreader, and you must specify a category.

2. Download the OPML and Import it into Your RSS Reader

Click the URL to download the OPML to your computer or phone, then import it into your reader. This is typically done through the "Import & Export" section in the settings.

Almost all readers support this method, but if you want to receive our updates, you'll need to re-download the OPML.
