The Royal Family have attended a Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.
Excited crowds, some who had been gathered for hours, watched on as the monarch and his family headed into St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk.
It was announced last week that the Duke of York would not attend the annual gathering after an alleged Chinese spy, named following a High Court judgement, was found to have been linked to the prince.
The annual service is taking place hours before the King's Christmas message airs - it will be delivered from a former hospital chapel, in a year that has seen the monarch undergo cancer treatment.

Pope Francis has launched a special jubilee year for Roman Catholics during a ceremony on Christmas Eve at the Vatican.
The Pope marked the start of the jubilee by opening the usually bricked-up Holy Door at St Peter's Basilica.
Jubilees take place only once every 25 years, and more than 30 million pilgrims are expected to head to Rome to pass through the door and seek forgiveness for their sins.

Protests have broken out in Syria after a Christmas tree was set alight.

A video posted on social media showed the tree on fire in the main square of Suqaylabiyah, a Christian-majority town in central Syria.

It lead to protests through Damascus and Suqaylabiyah in Hama province.

The incident has prompted calls for the new Islamist authorities to take steps to protect religious minorities.

Syria’s governing rebel group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), said those responsible were foreign fighters who had now been detained.

HTS representatives also promised to protect the rights and freedoms of religious and ethnic minorities in Syria.
