When you privatize services like health care, the only thing you achieve is making the rich wealthier, paying workers less, and providing a worse service. The government may not be the most efficient or speediest, but removing executive salaries and profit from the equation goes a long way to providing fair pay and effective service.

Today, the university announced that it is already seeing great interest from scientists at NASA, Yale, Stanford, and other American schools and government agencies, and that it wants to expand the program to other schools and European countries to absorb all the researchers who want to leave the United States.
America: the country that seeks to eliminate diversity and intelligence. The country that’s supposed to be the best is preventing our smartest from doing what they do best. It’s idiotic.

The idea a permanent resident can’t participate in protest is unconscionable to me and should be to everyone no matter their political views. I know you can’t post your way out of fascism, but I do think it’s incredibly important journalists continue to push and probe and that we continue to highlight it by whatever means we have—even if it’s just posting.
